The mission of the National Violence Prevention Network is to:

• Build awareness and support for NVDRS
  at the national level
  
  
• Promote the continued expansion of NVDRS to all
  50 states, U.S. territories and the District of Columbia
  
  
• Advocate for full funding - $20 million - for NVDRS by 2011
